We wanted to create a digital experience that reflects the physical product: clean, functional, and endlessly customizable. Botopia is a modular robot where users can mix and match magnetic pucks (like speakers, cameras, or projectors) to build their perfect smart companion.

When presenting technical features like battery life or materials, text-heavy blocks can easily bore the user. We solved this by using a minimalist Bento grid system paired with custom dot-matrix typography and iconography.
Key UI Details
• Bento Grid Layout: Keeps the information digestible and visually balanced across both desktop and mobile viewports.
• Custom Dot Iconography: Inspired by LED matrices, these abstract icons (Magnetic Modules, Hidden Wheels, Matte Finish) add a highly technical, engineering vibe to the clean interface.
Interactive Builder Experience
Instead of static images, we wanted users to literally “feel” how the product works. We designed an interactive preview section where users can hover over different modules to see them snap onto the base in real-time.
Storytelling Meets Conversion
To truly sell a smart home assistant, you need to show it in its natural habitat. We designed a dark, cinematic slider section to showcase real-life use cases — like the 360° Room Audio adapting to a modern living space.
Transforming Dry Specs into Premium Design
Information about warranties, returns, and support can often feel dry. To keep the premium, editorial vibe of the website, we packed these crucial trust factors into a sleek Bento grid structure.
We expanded our custom dot-matrix system to create meaningful, yet abstract symbols for “1-Year Warranty”, “24/7 Support”, and “Software Updates”.
The Result
This responsive system was built around clarity, minimalism, and smooth transitions. The adaptive layouts ensure that the highly interactive desktop experience translates effortlessly into a touch-first mobile environment.
